The Importance of Repeatability

Using a "Repeat-O-Meter", DLM can verify measurement readings on any given surface area of the granite plate. Repeat check measurements are essential because surface flatness alone is an
incomplete indicator of accuracy. This technique is used in conjunction with laser calibration in order to substantiate the precision of the data. Both flatness and repeat check measurements are respectably done in accordance with the Federal Standard GGG-P-463c.
